Job summary

Truist is seeking a Retail Banking Associate to provide timely and accurate client transactions, while advancing relationships and advising on digital banking options. The role supports sales through outreach and cross-training across service and sales activities.

The position emphasizes adherence to policies, ongoing product knowledge, and involvement in leadership routines to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversations and handling of transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking solutions to enhance service experience.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training sessions and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
