Job summary

Truist Wealth is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate client transactions and superior service. You will identify client needs, educate on digital banking, and support sales and IRM activities.

The role requires weekend/extended hours and travel flexibility, with a base salary in a defined range. You will be part of Truist’s Retail Community Bank, contributing to a distinctive client experience and adherence to risk controls while supporting branch operations and client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and schedule flexibility.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling transactions accurately.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking options (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Attend product knowledge meetings and training to advance knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay updated on policy changes.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
