Job summary

Truist in Knoxville, TN seeks a Regular Teller/Client Service Associate to deliver timely client transactions with accuracy and a high-quality service mindset. You will help clients meet financial needs with a friendly, professional approach.

You will educate clients on digital banking, participate in outbound outreach, support Integrated Relationship Management, and assist with branch routines while maintaining controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend sales, service and product knowledge meetings and training classes.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and policies to ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering relevant products.
