Job summary

Truist in Knoxville is seeking a Regular Teller to deliver timely, accurate client transactions and build trusted relationships. You will guide customers through digital tools, perform complex and standard transactions, and identify financial needs while maintaining records and compliance.

The role includes supporting sales and service through outbound outreach, learning Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) processes, and participating in branch leadership routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use PC and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends or extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and accurate transactions; handle complex and standard transactions with assistance as needed.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service banking tools (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales via outbound client outreach and identify needs or opportunities for partners.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and activities.
• Attend training and improve product knowledge to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies; stay informed of changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution; manage workload based on branch needs.
