Job summary

Truist Wealth in Irmo, SC seeks a Regular teller to provide timely, accurate client transactions and excellent service. You will promote digital banking solutions and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.

Role requires communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining compliance with policies. Weekend/extended hours and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance personal and product knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering products and services.
