Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Software Engineer with Unity 3D experience on a contract basis to support our customer’s XR projects, including virtual reality, mixed reality, and traditional applications. This onsite role requires reading mature codebases and delivering features in an agile, small-team environment.

You will work with senior developers, write clean C#, mock tasks, and help document methods. Experience with XR devices like Quest, HoloLens, or Vision Pro is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science or related field; MS or higher is a plus.
• 3+ years of real-world experience developing and shipping Unity-based applications or video games.
• Experience with XR technologies and devices (Meta Quest, HoloLens, Apple Vision Pro).
• Strong knowledge of C#, OO programming patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with Git for source control, branching, and PRs.

Responsibilities

• Support senior developers and complete tasks.
• Scope and estimate work accurately, build features from clearly scoped direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA.
• Create documentation for features and techniques tried or implemented.
• Architect software in a modular fashion for scalability.
• Build, debug, and deploy XR and traditional apps in Unity for Windows and Android.
