Job summary

Topgolf International is seeking a Unity Developer II to join our Games team at the Dallas HQ. You will build and ship Unity-based experiences for Topgolf bays, leveraging ball-tracking data, venue systems, and real-time scoring to create engaging, social gameplay.

You will collaborate with designers, artists, QA, and platform engineers to deliver prototypes through national rollout, with guidance from senior engineers for complex decisions. Prior experience shipping games is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional experience developing games or interactive applications in Unity.
• Solid C# programming skills.
• Experience building gameplay systems, UI flows, game-state machines, and real-time interactive features.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Unity games and interactive experiences for Topgolf venues.
• Build gameplay systems, UI, animation, scoring, camera behavior, effects, and game-state logic.
• Integrate Unity games with internal Topgolf services, APIs, tracking systems, configuration tools, and venue hardware.
• Work with designers and product owners to turn game concepts into prototypes and production-ready experiences.
• Collaborate with artists and technical artists to implement assets, shaders, VFX, animations, and performance-conscious visuals.
• Support QA by fixing bugs, improving testability, and helping diagnose issues in venue and local test environments.
• Write clean, maintainable C# code and contribute to code reviews.
• Help improve build, deployment, and development workflows; optimize performance for venue hardware.
