About the Office

The Office of Revenue Management and Development (ORMD) is a major revenue-producing office within HRA; it contributes to creating PEG revenue, generates additional State and Federal Reimbursement, and helps City-tax levy savings for the City. The Bureau of Case Integrity & Eligibility Verification aims to improve claiming processes, prevent overpayments, and review records of Cash Assistance and Medicaid Assistance Program (MAP) cases to identify Federal and State obligations retroactively.

Position Overview

ORMD is recruiting one (1) Principal Administrative Associate III to serve as the Unit Supervisor in the Medicaid Data Analysis Unit. Responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising and guiding a team of Principal Administrative Associate IIs involved in Medicaid case record analysis to identify retroactive obligations and establish reimbursement effective dates.
  2. Overseeing projects related to Duplicate Client Identification Number (CIN) cases to improve match quality and prevent future duplicates.
  3. Reviewing files from the Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) concerning Medicaid recipients with multiple active CINs and addressing Invalid Social Security Number files to reduce fraud.
  4. Ensuring staff perform quality assurance on EMEDNY, Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) MA queries, and WMS look-ups.
Work Details

Location: 4 World Trade Center

Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  1. Baccalaureate degree with three years of full-time administrative experience, including supervisory experience.
  2. Associate degree or 60 semester credits with four years of full-time administrative experience, including supervisory experience.
  3. High school diploma with five years of full-time administrative experience, including supervisory experience.
  4. Equivalent education and experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of WMS, POS, HRA One Viewer, and eMedNY systems.
