Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Unit Specialist for The School of Management and Labor Relations.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Conducts academic and industry research on HR & Labor Relations, business, analytics, and workforce trends.

  • Assist with surveys, data collection, and statistical analysis to evaluate program impact.

  • Support faculty in compiling research findings, proposals, and reports for institutional and industry use.

  • Engages in alumni and industry outreach

  • Provides academic and course support as assigned by faculty leads.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Strong academic & professional background in HR & Labor Relations.

  • Excellent communication, executive presence, leadership bandwidth, organizational, and research skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, alumni leaders, business associations and industry professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree Human Resources Management & Labor Relations.

  • Proficiency in Canvas, data analysis tools and social media research.
