You will maintain medical records, transcribe orders, coordinate tests and transport, and act as a welcoming liaison at the nursing station to help deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• One year of inpatient unit secretary experience preferred.
• Active enrollment in a healthcare program and familiarity with medical terminology and reading/transcribing orders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate medical records with proper labeling and filing.
• Transcribe medical orders accurately and distribute to relevant teams.
• Serve as a patient/family resource at the nursing station.
• Coordinate unit operations to support safe, timely patient care.
• Schedule tests, appointments, and transportation as needed.
• Act as a liaison for inquiries and route to appropriate staff.
