Job summary

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a Unit Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the unit. You will work with the Unit Manager and interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth workflows for staff, residents, and families.

The role emphasizes coordinating scheduling, handling communications, and maintaining organized systems to assist with admissions and appointments and to support resident care on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staff scheduling for the unit and prepares bi-weekly payroll accurately, in a timely manner
• Functions as a receptionist for the unit taking messages and returning calls for Unit Manager, Social Worker, and Nursing staff; frequently checks and promptly responds to all emails
• Transcribes Physicians’ orders; manages pharmacy refills; ensures all nursing forms are current and available
