Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program.
• Military medical specialty training or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant: WA on hire; CPR/Basic Life Support on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient personal care and comfort, including activities of daily living.
• Observe, monitor, document clinical activities; report changes to RN.
• Assist admission, discharge and transfers; orient patient and family.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment; stock supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety and infection prevention on unit; assist with equipment as required.
