Job summary

gategroup is seeking a proactive Unit Operations Manager in New York to lead the day-to-day operations of the unit and uphold safety and compliance standards. The role requires strong leadership to manage a large team and ensure adherence to company policies while driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field and at least five years of safety/ops experience in a multi-site environment. On-site location: 30 Inip Dr, Inwood, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, business operations or related field preferred.
• Five years of safety experience in a multi-site environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports safety program for all employees and ensures compliance.
• Ensures labor controls are in place and effective.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and conducts audits.
• Supports Total Quality Management and implements solutions.
• Mentors and trains staff on company directives and policies.
