Job summary

ABB Inc. in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, seeks a Manufacturing Unit Manager to lead our Instrumentation business.

This onsite role oversees a standalone plant of roughly 230–240 employees, with end-to-end responsibility for Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, and financial performance. You will drive end-to-end manufacturing excellence, safe and profitable operations, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading medium-to-large manufacturing facilities with full operational accountability.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operations management, planning, logistics, quality, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the manufacturing unit, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
• Deliver strong performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost metrics.
• Drive revenue, EBIT, cash flow, cost reduction, and operational excellence objectives.
• Support ongoing production transfers and footprint optimization initiatives.
• Lead the development of a new building and associated testing capabilities.
• Drive manufacturing optimization to support future business growth.
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
