Responsibilities:

1. Assume 24-hour responsibility for supervising the care of all residents on assigned units.
2. Supervise licensed nurses and other staff in delivering care based on each resident’s assessment and care plan.
3. Manage units according to facility philosophy, policies, standards of professional nursing practice, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid LPN or RN license
• Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university
• Experience in a long-term care setting is a plus but not required
• Skilled in multitasking and making quick decisions
• Ability to foster good relationships with residents and families
• Effective team collaboration skills
• A compassionate approach to elderly care
