Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” remains at the heart of our organization. It involves providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It includes engaging in volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives in the communities we serve. It also means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn, grow, and stay at the top of their fields to better serve our patients. Above all, it means delivering exceptional care simply and effectively — and we couldn’t do it without you.
Community East offers a part-time opportunity for an LPN or Paramedic in the Emergency Department. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates on the care plan. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication administration, phlebotomy, order transcription, documentation, and patient and family education reinforcement. The LPN/Paramedic works with other team members to perform additional unit services as directed.
At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication, and collaboration. We value all team members as integral to the patient experience. We pride ourselves on not having employees but Caregivers. Join our community and help us make a difference in your community.
