Shift: Night Job

Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with every third weekend

Make a Difference

Community East offers a part-time opportunity for an LPN or Paramedic in the Emergency Department. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates on the care plan. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication administration, phlebotomy, order transcription, documentation, and patient and family education reinforcement. The LPN/Paramedic works with other team members to perform additional unit services as directed.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
LPN
  • Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or a non-accredited school with three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as an LPN by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
Paramedic
  • High school diploma or GED and state certification by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
  • Experience as a Paramedic, EMT, or ED Technician is preferred.
