Job summary

German Centre Home is seeking an Unit Manager—RN or LPN—to lead the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.

This role will involve supervising nursing staff, coordinating assignments, and collaborating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly with day shifts (Mon–Fri) and holiday rotations, offering a salary of $97,700–$110,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
• 2+ years prior experience in a clinical supervisor or leadership role preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff by coordinating assignments, providing clinical guidance, and fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, infection control practices, and adherence to state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly, respond to clinical emergencies, and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
