Job summary

German Centre Edelweiss Village is seeking a Wellness Nurse – LPN to provide compassionate nursing care for residents and to supervise nursing staff. The role involves overseeing day-to-day activities, monitoring residents, following physician orders, and ensuring a safe environment.

Eligible candidates must hold a MA LPN license and CPR/BLS certification, with prior long-term care or assisted living experience preferred. This PRN position offers flexible shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities and supervise nurses and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Provide residents' nursing care, monitor conditions, follow physician orders, and apply nursing standards.
• Detect and report changes in residents' conditions; initiate interventions and maintain a safe environment.
• Instruct nursing staff on policies and procedures; ensure compliance with administrative and clinical standards.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.

Qualifications for Success:

• Current, unencumbered MA Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
