Job summary

German Centre Edelweiss Village is seeking a Wellness Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality resident care. This PRN position offers hourly pay with shifts that vary based on licensure and experience.

You will oversee nursing staff, monitor residents, and ensure adherence to physician orders and nursing standards. The role requires MA RN or LPN licensure, current CPR/BLS certification, and prior long-term care or assisted living experience.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license or MA LPN license.
• CPR/BLS Certification current.
• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Taking full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying nursing standards.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.
