Job summary

German Centre Home is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee weekend patient care, leading registered nurses and CNAs while ensuring compliance with physician orders and nursing standards.

The role requires an MA RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least two years of supervisory experience in a care setting. On-call duties include a weekend/holiday rotation with additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities, directing nurses and CNAs to maintain high-quality resident care.
• Manage residents' nursing care, monitor conditions, follow physician orders, apply nursing standards.
• Identify changes in residents' conditions; initiate or assist interventions; maintain a safe environment.
• Instruct nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Be on-call one weekday shift per week and every 6th weekend/holiday; on-call rotations include $300 extra.

$47.00 - $52.00/hour, based on experience

Part-Time | Every Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) | 7:00AM - 7:00PM

Delivering Solutions That Matter

• Overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Taking full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying recognized nursing standards.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.
• On-Call one weekday shift per week and every 6th weekend and holiday on-call rotation. Weekend/holiday on-call rotations include an additional $300 compensation

Qualifications For Success

• Current, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse – RN license
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience; preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
