Job summary

Clewiston Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring a full-time RN/LPN Unit Manager to supervise the delivery of care for residents and coordinate nursing staff. The role oversees care plans, nursing administration, and collaboration with CNAs to maintain quality resident services at 301 Gloria St, Clewiston, FL 33440.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN or LPN license in Florida, with 1–3 years of supervisory experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current state RN or LPN license.
• 1–3 years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs and other nursing staff in delivering care.
• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status.
• Assign tasks to LPNs and assistants under guidance of the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in process improvement to enhance patient experience and workflow.

Position Description:

TheRN/LPNUnit Manageris responsible for supervision of the delivery of care to residents. Assess resident needs, develop care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise CNAs and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.

Responsibilities of theRN/LPN Unit Manager:

• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.

• Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes.

• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status or residents.

• Assign duties to LPN’s and nursing assistants, as directed.

• Work closely with the Director of Nursing in resolving grievances with nursing staff, family members, and residents.

• Review charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.

• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Requirements of theRN/LPN Unit Manager:

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.

• One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
