Job summary

Clewiston Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a RN/LPN Unit Manager for a full-time position in Clewiston, FL. The role involves supervising the delivery of care, developing care plans, and coordinating with CNAs and other staff to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.
• One to three years of related supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
• Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes.
• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residents.
• Assign duties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as directed.
• Work closely with the Director of Nursing in resolving grievances with nursing staff, family members, and residents.
• Review charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
