Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, within your assigned unit, you will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction.

  1. Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and care delivery for your nursing unit.
  2. Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare’s mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
  3. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  4. Manage human resources in your unit, including minimizing overtime and agency staffing, recruiting, orienting, evaluating staff performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
  • Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Salary Range

USD $36.00 - USD $40.00 per hour
