Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, within an assigned unit, you will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction.

1. Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and care of nursing and patients/residents for an assigned unit.
2. Ensure that care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with standards of practice, state, and federal regulations.
3. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Manage human resources in the unit, including recruiting, orientation, performance assessment, limiting overtime and agency use, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $99,640.00 per year.
