Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Florida seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead and oversee nursing care for residents in our sub-acute/long-term setting.

You will partner with the Director of Nursing and HR to ensure high-quality patient care, mentor staff, maintain health standards, and act as the main liaison between residents families and the care team. Eligible applicants hold RN licensure in Florida and an ASN or nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Florida (RN) is required.
• ASN or Practical Nursing Diploma required.
• Minimum 1+ year nursing experience in sub-acute or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and restore the health of resident patients.
• Serve as the main point of contact between residents and their families.
• Address and prevent concerns from family members.

Responsibilities Of An RN Unit Manager

Qualifications For An RN Unit Manager

• Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required.
• Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required.
• One (1+) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.
