Assess resident needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, and evaluate nursing care. Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Care Specialists (CNA), and other personnel. May supervise other RNs.

Responsibilities
- Ensure effective, quality nursing care is delivered, focusing on outcomes through the nursing process. Identify needs and contribute to discharge planning and follow-up throughout the resident's stay.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with residents/responsible parties and the interdisciplinary team.
- Implement care plans effectively and efficiently, focusing on resident-centered outcomes, utilizing all available resources for counseling and discharge planning. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals by sharing relevant information about changing care plans.
- Deliver and maintain optimal resident care and comfort by demonstrating current nursing practice knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as an RN in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification; required within 90 days of hire
- Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills in geriatrics
- Ability to maintain regular attendance
