Major Responsibilities
  • Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality service.
  • Support staff development initiatives.
  • Provide direct resident care following established plans.
  • Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
  • Conduct comprehensive data collection on residents’ medical status upon admission and throughout treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules for adequate coverage.
  • Uphold resident rights policies and work with families and staff to resolve grievances.
  • Complete Preceptor Training.
  • Innovate healthcare practices through new ideas and process improvements to enhance systems and develop a successful management team.
Qualifications
  • Valid, active RN or LPN license in the state.
  • At least 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in nursing administration preferred.
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and qualified to excel in this role.
