Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, within an assigned unit, you will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring satisfaction among patients, residents, families, and staff.

1. Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and delivery of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned unit.
2. Ensure that care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with standards of practice, state, and federal regulations.
3. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Manage human resources in the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency staffing, recruiting and onboarding staff, evaluating performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Posted Salary Range

USD $45.00 - USD $50.00 per hour
