Job summary

Oak Knoll Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Manager (RN) to oversee daily clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, and ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centered care in a busy skilled nursing setting.

This role works with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to maintain compliance, support staff development, and promote positive resident outcomes while upholding our commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state required.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team with professionalism and compassion.
• Excellent communication with staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical care and operations of the assigned unit.
• Supervise, guide, and support nurses and nursing assistants.
• Ensure care plans are followed and updated.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Support infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff to promote a strong clinical team.
