Job summary

New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey seeks an experienced registered nurse to help coordinate nursing services and ensure a continuous care regimen. The role involves direct nursing care, monitoring meds, and daily rounds to assess resident needs.

Requires NJ RN license, 5+ years nursing experience, 2+ years supervising in a care center or hospital, PCC/MDS familiarity, and English proficiency; bilingual skills are a plus. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required.
• Two (2) years or more years of supervisor experience in nursing centers or hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily rounds to observe residents and assess nursing needs.
• Perform direct nursing care as needed.
• Monitor medication passes and treatments to ensure orders are followed.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care.

Provide the Director with information relative to the nursing needs of the resident and ability to meet those needs.

Schedule daily rounds to observe residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met.

Perform direct nursing care as needed.

Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
