Job summary

AristaCare at Parkside in Linden, NJ is seeking a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to oversee care management for a defined population within an assigned unit. The role applies the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—under New Jersey licensure.

The Unit Manager coordinates resources, ensures timely care interventions, and promotes interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• At least 6 years as a supervisor in hospital or LTC.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

Job description

Unit Manager– is reasonable to oversee the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit or clinical function. The position conducts the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. The Unit Manager - RN coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to center's clinical systems and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must possess, a valid RN or LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Must have 6 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility (LTC).
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
