Excelsior Care Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Unit Manager for a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rochelle Park, NJ. The role focuses on daily clinical operations, staff leadership, and ensuring care plans are executed to meet resident needs.

The RN in this leadership position will oversee rounds, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and ensure documentation and regulatory compliance. Experience in long-term care and PCC is required for success.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care / skilled nursing experience required.
• Previous Unit Manager or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth.
• Ensure residents receive care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Perform resident rounds, assessments, and monitor changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.
• Lead and participate in care plan meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and survey preparedness.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture.

Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned unit, ensuring exceptional resident care while providing leadership and support to nursing staff.
