Accela Healthcare is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a 55-bed skilled nursing and rehab unit in Mercer County, NJ. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensure care plans are followed, and maintain regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff development, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Prior nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, guide, and support RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Ensure resident care is delivered in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Monitor residents' conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up when changes in condition occur.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, clinical documentation, and nursing practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, the Director of Nursing, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care plan meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and clinical improvement efforts.
• Assist with staff education, coaching, performance management, and clinical development.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.

Our 55 bed Skilled Nursing and Rehab center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join its clinical leadership team. As a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Mercer County, NJ, we provide exceptional care to our residents and are committed to delivering high-quality services.

About the Role

As a Unit Manager RN, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, supervising, guiding, and supporting RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure resident care is delivered in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements for RN Unit Manager

• Skilled nursing, long‑term care, subacute rehabilitation, or post‑acute care experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a nursing team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to resident dignity, safety, and quality care
