Job description

We rely on and trust our Unit Manager (RN) to provide independent supervision of the delivery of care to residents in a nursing unit. Responsibilities include assessing resident needs, developing care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating outcomes. The role involves supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Care Specialists (CNAs), and other personnel, with potential supervision of other RNs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with residents and the interdisciplinary team
  • Implement care plans effectively and efficiently, focusing on resident-centered outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain resident comfort and care by applying current nursing practices and skills
Qualifications
  • Valid RN license in the practicing state
  • Current CPR certification; must obtain within 90 days if not already certified
  • Recent clinical experience or specialized skills in geriatrics
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance
