Position Summary

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of a designated unit within our skilled nursing facility. This includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and ensuring regulatory compliance—all while fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support nursing staff on the unit
  • Coordinate resident care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and charting
  • Respond to resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
  • Participate in admissions, discharges, and care conferences
  • Promote quality improvement and staff development initiatives


Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing leadership or charge nurse experience in long-term care preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and documentation standards
