Job summary

Greendale Park Nursing and Rehab in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care, overseeing LPNs and CNAs, and coordinating with physicians and leadership to implement individualized care plans.

You will supervise nursing staff, maintain accurate charting, and administer treatments, medications, and IVs with empathy while monitoring patient progress.

Qualifications

  • Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
  • Deep understanding of skilled nursing standards of care.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and leadership to design and deliver personalized care plans.
  • Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and clinical support staff, fostering teamwork and excellence in care delivery.
  • Ensure precise and thorough charting, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and IVs with precision and empathy, while monitoring patient progress.
  • Assess diagnostic tests to provide actionable insights into patient conditions.
  • Champion a positive, respectful, and safe workplace by addressing concerns proactively and maintaining open communication with the ADON and DON.

What You’ll Do
