Job summary

Oak Knoll Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Manager (RN) to oversee daily clinical operations on an assigned unit. You will supervise nursing staff and ensure residents receive person-centered care, while collaborating with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to stay compliant and drive positive outcomes.

You will lead care planning, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality clinical performance, with strong communication to families and physicians.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead with professionalism and compassion.
• Excellent communication with staff, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical care and operations of assigned unit.
• Supervise, guide, and support nurses and nursing assistants.
• Ensure care plans are followed and updated.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Support infection control practices and quality initiatives.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff to promote a strong clinical team.

This role works closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to maintain regulatory compliance, support staff development, and promote positive resident outcomes.
