Job summary

Springdale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springdale, AR, seeks a Unit Manager (RN) to oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned unit, supervising nursing staff and ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centered care.

You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to maintain regulatory compliance, support staff development, and promote positive resident outcomes in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by state required.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team with professionalism and compassion.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical care and operations of your assigned unit.
• Supervise, guide, and support nurses and nursing assistants.
• Ensure care plans are followed and updated appropriately.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Support infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff to promote a strong clinical team.
