Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a compassionate Unit Manager (RN) in Largo, Florida to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and a culture of excellence within our facility.

As Unit Manager, you will supervise nursing staff, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate schedules to ensure optimal coverage. A current RN license and nursing administration experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population.
• Minimum 1 year experience in nursing administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality care on the assigned unit.
• Assist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans.
• Conduct and document data collection of each resident’s medical status on admission and throughout treatment.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for assigned residents.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements, as directed.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff to resolve grievances.
