Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our team in Largo, FL. Lead the nursing unit, supervise staff, and ensure resident-centered care guided by our commitment to excellence.

You will oversee staffing, contribute to care planning, and maintain strict data collection and documentation to support quality outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; minimum 1 year in nursing administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing and supervision for nursing staff to ensure quality resident care on the unit.
• Assist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Provide direct resident care per established plans.
• Conduct and document data collection of each resident's medical status on admission and throughout treatment.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and resolve grievances with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit
• Assist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans
• Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the resident’s course of treatment
• Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident

• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff, as needed, to resolve grievances

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN
• Must have a minimum (3) years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility. Minimum one (1) year experience in nursing administration
