Job summary

Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center in Warrenton, VA is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead our nursing team and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care. Pay ranges by licensure: LPN $36.00–$38.00/hr; RN $42.00–$44.00/hr.

As Unit Manager you will provide clinical leadership, oversee staffing and daily unit operations, monitor care plans and documentation, and collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to uphold standards and quality

Qualifications

• Virginia LPN or RN license currently active.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Monitor resident care and ensure nursing services are provided according to established standards.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and updating resident care plans.
• Monitor documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, and daily unit operations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and support as needed.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to resident and family concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Support the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership team with daily clinical operations.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent resident care.
