Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure the unit and Soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies.

You will maintain records, operate unit level computers, and help secure weapons and ammunition while coordinating maintenance and documentation for readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a high school graduate or GED.
• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and/or typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records and perform basic warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive supplies; oversee shipping and storage.
• Document and organize records; maintain automated systems.
• Secure and control weapons and ammunition; schedule maintenance for weapons.
