Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit is well supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, plus secure weapons and manage documentation, inventories, and automated systems.

You will train to maintain a civilian career path as a stock clerk or storekeeper, while earning a regular paycheck and tuition assistance through the Army National Guard.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in Army National Guard (military enlistment).
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com)

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
