Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure unit readiness by overseeing the storage, shipping, and supply of equipment. You will manage receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies, while maintaining documents and automated systems.

You will learn procedures for handling medical and food supplies and prepare for civilian careers as stock control roles in various warehouses.

Qualifications

• Must be a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard is required.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit-level computers.
