The Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is New York City’s chief financial agency. OMB’s staff of analysts and technical experts assemble and oversee the Mayor’s expense and capital budgets, which fund the services and activities of approximately 90 City agencies and entities.

The Asset Inventory Management System (AIMS) program is a Charter-mandated function that maintains the City’s capital plant inventory and condition information, along with agency maintenance schedules and cost estimates. This work is designed to create public accountability for keeping major City assets from buildings to bridges to roads in good repair, strengthening how NYC tracks, maintains, and invests in the assets our communities depend on every day.

You will be the technical owner for AIMS, responsible for both reliable day-to-day database operations and for application modernization. You’ll serve as the administrator of the database, responsible for its database continuity, while also leading hands-on development of new and updated tools.
