Job summary

The Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is New York City’s chief financial agency. This part-time Senior Analyst role focuses on managing consultant contracts, payments, and expenditure reporting for the Value Engineering and Asset Management taskforce.

You will liaise between project managers, external firms, and OMB staff, maintaining compliance and overseeing fund balances. Three days per week, with related qualifications required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contract administration and accounting are required.
• Strong financial acumen with budget management and expenditure control experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating between internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage recruitment and personnel selection.

Responsibilities

• Consultant contract & payment management and reporting for Director approval.
• Review expenditure control and asset management work orders; maintain balances and files.
• Provide operational support and substitute for other contract admin staff as needed.
