Job summary

Bronson Methoddist Hospital is seeking a Unit Coordinator- Pre-Admissions/Endo Screening. Under supervision, lead staff and act as a clinical liaison with physicians and management to ensure unit standards and safe patient care.

Requires a BSN and 2 years of clinical experience; RN license in Michigan; leadership experience; strong communication and data-handling skills. Master’s preferred; various clinical certifications may be required per department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Michigan.
• Advanced Nursing Certification preferred (e.g., specialty certs).
• Department-specific requirements such as PALS, BLS, ACLS, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, orientation, staffing, payroll and budget.
• Maintain safe environment of care and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff; act as liaison with staff, physicians and management.
• Coordinate day-to-day unit operations including patient placements and staff assignments.
• Collaborate with manager/director on staffing plans and scheduling.
