Job summary

Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator, Endoscopy to lead care delivery and coordinate staffing for the Endoscopy unit. The role supervises shift staff, assigns duties, and partners with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The position requires an RN license in Michigan, an associate degree or diploma, 1–2 years of leadership experience, and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Michigan RN license required.
• 1–2 years of progressively more responsible experience with leadership.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and facilitate processes.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as lead and resource person for nursing personnel and assists in staff meetings.
• Monitors schedule to maintain nurse-patient ratio and coordinates staffing.
• Facilitates shared decision making and unit throughput improvements.
• Provides in-service programs to enhance staff competence.
• Assists with interview, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Supports development of department policies and standards.
• Contributes to process improvement and peer review.
