Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Endoscopy in Hamtramck, Michigan. The role focuses on coordinating care delivery, assigning and scheduling staff, and evaluating patient care within the Endoscopy specialty.

The position requires an RN license in Michigan, 1–2 years of leadership experience, and a BSN is preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• One to two years of progressive leadership responsibility.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and facilitate processes.
• Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria: Level 6; internal candidates preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resource nurse staff; participate in staff meetings and development.
• Monitor schedule to maintain nurse-patient ratio; coordinate staffing changes.
• Facilitate unit throughput to improve LOS.
• Coordinate in-service programs to maintain staff competence.
• Assist with interviewing, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Assist in development of department policies and standards.
• Support department process improvement and peer review.
