The position supports unit operations, including timekeeping and stocking, within a 36-hour weekly schedule with day shifts and weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Preferred use of administrative skills in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, visitors, and new admissions. Schedules appointments and answers inquiries.
• Performs clerical duties including filing, email, and mail distribution; creates reports.
• Assists patients/residents with basic technology and social media.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and healthcare team members about patient care.
• Performs unit safety checks and assists with meeting patient needs.
